Married Gays from Canada, Have Rights in US!?!

If there was ever a need for a constitutional amendment regarding gay marriage it is now. Newday reports that Comptroller Alan Hevesi has said that gay marriages recognised in Canada, would receive legal rights in the US. With consistency in the interpretation of the constitution being shaky as it is between states, this development will add one more legal ranglings, and loopholes to the current system. There needs to be an amendment which spells out in the clearest terms possible, what is the definition of marriage. Otherwise, the US legal system will become even more of a "headscratch".
